As I'm writing this, two teams from the Carolinas are gearing up for the first televised game of the year. Unfortunately, I'm in class.
That, however, won't stop me from offering a couple of last minute picks for tonight's late game.
Oregon at Boise State (- 4.5)
I like Boise State in this one. Boise State is bigger where it matters, well coached, and tough to beat at home. Not to mention, the Broncos have an effective pocket passer in Kellen Moore who should look to put up even bigger numbers than his 3500 yards from last season. I expect Boise State to linger around the top 5 by the end of the season and look to be a BCS buster.
Over/Under (64)
Neither team boasts an outstanding defense, but both have offensive tools that should make for an exciting game. For that reason, I'll also take the OVER on a normally high 64 points.

Good Pick
Great minds think alike huh? I enjoyed that Boise cover last night. The pathetic offensive output puzzled me. GL this weekend.
