I hope Week 2 treats us all much nicer than Week 1 did. I'm hearing alot of dogs barking this week. Let's get it started.

Army - Pick

The Black Knights look like a great play in this spot. I know I ranked them as one of my Bottom 10 ATS teams coming into this season, but Duke looks really bad again this year.

Duke lost to D-IAA Richmond last week at home 24-16. Duke only rushed for 19 yards last week, while Army only allowed 40 yards on the ground at E. Michigan in a 27-14 victory for Army. Duke allowed 125 yards rushing, while the Black Knights racked up 300 yards rushing and 3 TD's last week.

Army is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 non-conference games.

I think Army wins this one, 24-7.

Buffalo +10.5

I'm going to ride this Buffalo train until it derails. They get Pitt at home and 10.5 points. This is Pitt's first real test of the season, after playing Youngstown State last week. Buffalo looked impressive against UTEP last week on the road. Their offensive and defensive lines were in control the whole game. True, Pitt should be bigger and stronger than UTEP, but Coach Turner Gill will have Buffalo ready to play again this week.

Buffalo hasn't had the greatest success against the Big East in the past, but all of those losses came on the road. Buffalo is 11-1 ATS the last 5 times they were an underdog and they are 4-0 when getting more than 10 points in the last 2 seasons.

I see a low scoring game here, as both teams will try to establish the running game and Pittsburgh and coach Wandsted has proven year after year that their offense is very vanilla.

I think Pitt wins on a last second field goal, Pitt 20-17
