I haven't been around in a couple of weeks now, got pretty busy believe it or not. Also, had I 3 bad weeks in a row and took last weekend off, well sort of, I went 1-1, just 2 bets though.
Now for the matter at hand. Before we get to Saturday we have a couple of good games, as far as value goes, being played tonight.
West Virginia vs. Colorado - Colorado is absolutely trash. They did finally win a game against mighty Wyoming last week, but have looked horrible in losses to Colorado State and Toledo. The defense is giving up lots of yards and points, 54 to Toledo, and the offense behind Hawkins rarely gets in the endzone. Colorado gave up 210 yards on the ground to Toledo and now they face WVU and Noel Divine, I expect WVU to rush for over 300 yards tonight. West Viginia played Auburn very tought and probably should have one if it wasn't for the 5 interceptions. If WVU can hold onto the football tonight I think they win easy.
S. Miss @ UAB - S. Miss is limping into this game tonight with RB Fletcher and WR Brown both out with injuries. This will really hurt S. Miss offense as these two accounted for 58% of the offense last week against Kansas. UAB isn't that great, but I just can't pass on a 10 + point home dog on Thursday night. Home team went 13-4 SU on Thursday nights last season. Plus, UAB QB Joe Webb is due for a breakout game, he has lots of talent.
So after all of that, I'm taking some extra insurance in a 6 point teaser with West Virginia -10 and UAB +16.
Best of Luck. Hopefully we'll turn things around this weekend.
